The world’s biggest classic motor racing festival celebrates its 21st anniversary this summer with its largest ever package of entertainment utilising both the new Silverstone Wing building as well as the National pits.
Track action: 800 historic race cars worth over £300 million – F1, Group C, GT, Sports and Touring cars racing flat out on the new F1 Grand Circuit.
Live music: 10cc, Suzi Quatro, Wishbone Ash on Saturday night plus Rolling Stones, Queen and Bob Marley tribute bands on Friday night with a full classical Amadeus orchestra on Sunday afternoon.
In-field action: 6,000 classic cars on display including around 1,000 E-Types celebrating their 50thanniversary, a Funfair, Punch and Judy show, steam traction rally, go-karting, shopping at 100 outlets for books, art, antiques, auto memorabilia, fashion, Autojumble plus demonstrations and parades all linked by classic Routemaster buses.
Air displays: The Parachute Regiment Freefall Team - The Red Devils, a Spitfire & Mustang display to stir the emotions, the precision Blades aerobatic display team plus Hot Air Balloons ascents.
